I have consistently appreciated your sensible takes on bad theology on X. I know how exhausting it can be, and I can only imagine what it's like to occupy the no-(wo)man's land the way you do. Steering down the middle in a polarized world is a nail-biting ride. I'm grateful for you and for your voice. May the Lord grant you everything you need as you make lasting contributions to scholarship through your writing in the coming weeks. Blessings!!

Dani, this is beautiful and thoughtful. You have set a difficult task for yourself (better said, you’ve followed the Lord into a difficult task) by trying to speak faithfully from scripture on topics of gender, marriage and singleness. These are tough topics face to face in relationships much less speaking in an open and religiously diverse forum. I’m proud of you for your boldness and humility. May the Lord continue to give you courage and wisdom.

I totally understand where you are coming from with all this (even though at times I needed to use the dictionary, lol) … God has truly given you many gifts with your deep thinking and ability to communicate. I am grateful to have come across you on the internet - and i will be praying for you in your small corner of it, as you strengthen your faith & we all learn together and through you. I appreciate you Dani. God Bless you. Love, Robyn

Hello Dani! I am praying for you. I follow you in the Twitter/X space, and yes, it often gets really messy there.

That tension between loving thoughtful disagreement and still wanting to preserve relationship feels very familiar, and it takes humility to admit how easily conviction can slide into defensiveness when you’re constantly operating in contested spaces. The request to be read as a person rather than a position feels important too. It’s a good reminder that faithful dialogue requires generosity on both sides, not just precision in argument. I’ve been writing about something related — how faithfulness in public spaces often looks like learning to hold truth and charity together without losing either — if you’d like to read it here: https://theeternalnowmm.substack.com/p/eternal-love?r=71z4jh

I cannot imagine the challenge you have to face on Twitter. I do know how much your writings on singleness have helped me the last couple of years. Thank you very much.
