Dani:

You have not only made a convincing appeal to your fellow Anglicans.

The consequence of your coherent Biblically-directed statement of our human identity as "Image Bearers" of our Creator-Redeemer, is that you have challenged all Christians - and anyone else who may be paying attention - to resist the neo-pagan dead-end of the confusion that dominates our polity's discussion left-and-right by simply pointing to a cogent way for us to live out our lives with integrity ... Thankyou and may the LORD bless your efforts to commend such a liberating and healthy view grounded in Biblical wisdom. You have actually articulated a truly Christian principle that not only upholds the Biblical teaching that marriage is to be held in honour (Hebrews 13:4) but in emphasising the integrity of living chaste you also open the way for a rediscovery of genuine God-given friendship between and among men and women. This is crucial insight for the development of a genuine Christian sociology.

Wow, am truly blessed and i appreciate the line of thought which flows in regard to singleness... hoping to see more light and in anticipation to the book.

Thank you for this beautiful post Danielle. I am Nigerian and I don't know much about the Synod but i absolutely love the innovation and wisdom to present such a motion. At the very least, I hope it helps people to be more intentional in loving the Singles and including them within the church. It's also very encouraging to those of us who are single that while we hope to meet someone and be married, we are not incomplete even now. Congratulations on your book and other avenues of ministry that you pursue.
